What's in the Name?
Welcome! I am Tiffany, the one woman show that is Tippy Tree Yarns, and I'm so happy you are here. Nature and crafting are two things that have always fed my soul. Shortly after moving to Colorado several years ago, our family found a great spot in Rocky Mountain National Park that was off the beaten track. A place of awe and wonder. Of rich colors and textures. Of serenity and wilderness. We named our spot Tippy Tree and we revisit it often. It holds a special place in my heart. Knitting began for me around that same time and with encouragement from a friend, I set out to learn a new craft (Thank goodness for YouTube!!). Since then, I've been completely addicted to the fiber arts world. There is something very therapeutic about knitting to me and I find the process of dyeing yarn completely magical and joyful. That same magic and joy I feel at the Tippy Tree spot is there in every handcrafted skein of yarn. I hope it brings you those feelings as well.
Shop Info
Only professional acid dyes used to dye. All yarns are washed with unscented wool wash after dyeing. Non-smoking household, one indoor dog, no cats. Currently only very small batches - 2-6 skeins in a dye lot. Any questions, please contact me, I'd love to help.
